Application Procedures

Test Area
Always prepare a test area prior to full application. This will indicate the time required for project completion and suitability of product for effective cleaning of the substrate. Additionally, specific jobsite consumption rates can be calculated after the test area is completed.

Equipment & Tools
This product is designed to be applied by brush or roller. Other equipment required: masking tape, nylon brush, plastic (polyethylene) sheet, should be used for protecting surfaces not to be treated with MASONRE Efflorescence Remover.

Preparation
MASKING: Cover / protect areas where cleaning is not desired, including adjoining surfaces where over spray may travel. Plastic (polyethylene) sheets make a very effective barrier. Test to see affects on any glass or metals that may come in contact with MASONRE® Efflorescence Remover.DO NOT DILUTE.

Application
Apply a thick, even layer of MASONRE Efflorescence Remover onto a DRY substrate. Let sit for several minutes then scrub the surface with a nylon brush. Rinse off the substrate and reapply as needed.

Removal and Cleanup
After allowing the product to dwell, rinse the surface with water. Do not allow run off to dry on other surfaces.

Safety Requirements
Proper safety procedures should be followed at all times while handling this product. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for important health/safety information before use. MASONRE® Efflorescence Remover should only be used for approved applications.

Limitations

Surface temperatures should be 40° to 95°F (5° to 32°C). The product performs effectively at lower temperatures (even at 40°F, 5°C), but the dwell time increases.

Packaging and Coverage
Packaging: Approximately 5 gallons
The product is engineered for thick film build up on vertical and overhead surfaces. Minimum wet film thickness should be 0.5 mils (500 microns). Always test the substrate to ensure accurate coverage rates. Typical coverage rates are between 150 and 200 ft sq. ft. per gallon.
