masonRE® Oil & Water Repellent

The masonRE® Oil & Water Repellent conforms to all VOC regulations, does not affect the appearance or vapor permeability of the substrate, and will not harm glass. Oil & Water Repellent can be applied to porous masonry surfaces. Dries clear on surface. Creates an easily cleanable surface for dirt, grime, tar, soil, etc. Due to its water-based composition, water & oil repellent is odorless and leaves a natural finish (no sheen) on the surface. It works by penetrating into the substrate. It is not topical. After being absorbed, the water & oil repellent establishes a powerful chemical network within the substrate pores, keeping moisture and oil out. In addition to keeping treated surfaces dry and making it easy to clean, the oil & water repellent does not block the pores, permitting essential vapor transmission.

R-97 Water and Oil Repellent

As more cities and states demand that industrial product manufactures reduce the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in their products, Cathedral Stone® Products has responded by developing R-97 Water and Oil Repellant specifically for its customers. R-97 does not release any Volatile Organic Compounds, making it a compliant product in any city or state with VOC restrictions. R-97 is 97% breathable, which is a level of breathability that no other similar product can offer.

R-97 can be applied to brick, grout, unpolished marble, limestone, tile, and other masonry surfaces to create an easily cleanable surface for dirt, oil, grime, tar, soil, etc. R-97 works by penetrating into the substrate and creating a chemical bond within the substrate pores, keeping moisture and oil out. R-97 does not block the pores, permitting essential vapor transmission.
